Obituary for Majorie Mize Jones

Majorie Mize Jones, 90, of Patrick Springs, VA died on Monday December 18, 2017 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart, VA. She was born on November 20, 1927 to the late Ernest R. Mize and Ophelia MacFarland Mize.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister; Peggy Wiggington and one brother; Herman Mize.

She worked as a secretary at Karastan Service Center and attended Sycamore Baptist Church in Stuart, VA.

Surviving are one sister; Fran Mitchell of Cary, NC, four sons; Don Jones and wife Janet of Thomasville, NC, David Jones of Stuart, VA, Gray Jones and wife Mary of Myrtle Beach, SC, Gary Jones and wife Melinda of Horsepasture, VA , six grand-children and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December, 20 2017 at Norris Funeral Services Chapel in Stuart with Rev. Gerald Melton officiating. Burial will be in Dan View cemetery in Eden, NC.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Norris Funeral Services Chapel.
