Obituary for Margaret Gloria Goodwyn Little

Margaret Gloria Goodwyn Little, 92, of Amherst, VA passed away, Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at her home she shared with her niece, Jane Fitzsimmons.
Born in Dallas TX, January 25, 1927, Mrs. Little was the daughter of the late Thadeous Audubon Goodwyn, Sr. and Minnie Lou Daugherty Goodwyn. She was an enthusiastic Bridge player and dinner host. She was working on a cook book at her passing. She was retired after many years of teaching school. She was a life-long member Christ Church of Dallas, TX and currently a member of Christ Church of Spotsylvania, VA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thadeous A. “Sonny” Goodwyn, Jr and her beloved grandmother, Sarah Burnett Daugherty Thompson.
She is survived by five nieces, two nephews and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, a large extended family and many cherished friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Christ’s Church, Dallas, TX. Interment will follow in Restland of Dallas.
