Obituary for Larry "Jason" Long

Larry “Jason” Long, age 38 passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at his home. He was born May 13, 1980 in Danville, VA to Larry Dean and Cherie Campbell Long. Jason was married to Katherine Sweeney Long who survives of the residence.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by one son, Jayden; a brother Jonathan; a sister Leia McDaniel and husband Ian of Danville; Maternal grandfather, William “Papason” Campbell; paternal grandmother, Ellen “Granny” Long; his cancer brother, Troy Colalillo; six pets, Darkavious, Onyx, Jake, Khaleesi, Clash and Chili; a host of Uncles, Aunts and cousins.

Mr. Long was predeceased by a maternal grandmother, Clara Campbell; a paternal grandfather, Gene Long.

Jason impacted so many lives, always smiling and sacrificing his own needs for others.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., April 6, 2019 at Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church in the fellowship hall.
