Obituary for Freddie McBride

Freddie McBride, age 54 of Elon, NC, and formerly of Danville, VA passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 in Burlington, NC. He was born December 17, 1964 in Danville, VA to Irene McBride and the late William McBride. Freddie loved NASCAR racing and worked for Trinity Mill as a machine operator.

In addition to his mother, Freddie is survived by two daughters, Kelsey Blanks and husband Sean and Cassidy McBride of Danville; two sisters, Janet Owen and Pamela Dunn; two brothers, William and Roy McBride, and three grandchildren, Macy, Axton, and Wyatt Blanks. He is also survived by his girlfriend Tammy Apple of Elon, NC and her daughter, Christine and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2019 prior to a memorial service to be held at 7 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services, Inc. Mt. Hermon Chapel, 3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24541. The memorial service will be officiated by Rev. Shevi Sloane.
