Obituary for Judith Reese Wallace

Judith Reese Wallace, 74, of 425 Neal Davis Road, Ringgold, Va. passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at her residence. She was born January 31, 1943, in Danville, Va. to the late Hattie Shorter Reese and the late Jesse W. Reese. Mrs. Wallace is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Lee Wallace, Sr. She worked as a secretary for Abercrombie Oil Company prior to her retirement. Mrs. Wallace was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Robbie L. Wallace, Jr. and wife, Angela of Roxboro, N.C., Kelly Wallace of Alton, Va. and Tim Mays and wife, Lisa of Eden, N.C.; her brothers, Billy Reese and Sonny Reese; as well as seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wallace was predeceased by her sister, Joy Powell and her brother, Charles W. Reese.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2017 at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel with Rev. David Bunch officiating. Interment will follow at Ephesus Baptist Church, 1901 Ephesus Church Road, Semora, N.C. 27343.

The family will receive friends, Friday, July 14, at the funeral home prior to the service, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
