Obituary for Joyce J. Bach

Joyce Bach, 56, of Marietta, Ga., passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at her childhood home. She was born January 22, 1961, in Danville, Va. to Edward and Barbara Jordan. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, David Bach. Mrs. Bach was a member of First Baptist Church, Atlanta.

In addition to her husband and parents, Joyce is survived by her children, Sarah Goebel (Mark), and Sally Bach; two sisters, Lisa Hardy (James) and Teresa Burnette (Bruce); as well as three grandchildren, and several nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Darrell.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Norris West End Chapel with Rev. Eugen G. Bach officiating. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., and at other times at her mother’s residence, 2893 Vandola Road, Danville.
