Obituary for John Eugene Lovins

John Eugene Lovins, 48, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018. He was born on December 6, 1969 to the late Harrison John Lovins and Helen Osborne Lovins who survives.

Mr. Lovins worked as an installer for NuAgain Furniture and was of the Christian Faith. He was also a member of the Federated Order of Eagles for 17 years.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Lovins is survived by his maternal grandmother, Berta Osborne of Figsboro, VA; aunts, Sarah Turner of Patrick Springs, VA and Wayvonia Rorrer of Collinsville, VA; and uncles, Glenn Osborne of Figsboro, VA, C.V. Lovins of Bassett, VA, and Roger Lovins of Patrick Springs, VA.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Church of God of Prophecy, Elamsville, VA with Rev. Greg Martin officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel and other times at the family residence at 85 Golden Road, Martinsville, VA 24112. Burial will be at Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery.
