Obituary for Henrietta Switzer Cash

Henrietta Switzer Cash, 85 of Amherst passed away, Monday, May 7, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Madison Heights.

Born in Alleghany County, May 8, 1932, Mrs. Cash was the daughter of the late Henry Jackson and America Allen Ball Switzer. She was retired as a Seamstress with Amherst Manufacturing and was a faithful member of Wesleyan United Methodist Church for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Cash; brother, Charles Switzer; and two sisters, Helen Peters and Lily Bowling.

Surviving are her daughter, Lorrie Saunders (Roy) of Madison Heights; granddaughters, Kristen Ashley Saunders (Justin) of Fayetteville, NC and Tiffany Boydoh (Paul) of Forest; two great-grandchildren, Mikenzi Lindsey and Jaxon Lindsey; and two sisters, Jane Martin of Madison Heights and Marie Branham of Amherst.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Wesleyan United Methodist Church. Interment followed in Amherst Cemetery.
