Obituary for Dorothy Barbour Via

Dorothy "Dot" Barbour Via, 83, of Critz, VA, died on Monday March 27, 2017 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart, VA. She was born on January 1 1934 to the late Rader William Barbour and Andrew Lee Barbour.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Marilyn Cummings and one brother; Harold Barbour.

She was a member of Stella Christian Church and worked at Bassett Walker for many years.

Surviving are her husband; Ben lee Via of the home, three sisters; Lenna Martin, Midge Tatum, Phyllis Patterson all of Patrick Springs, VA, two daughters; Jo Kapfer and husband Doug, Duane Via, three grandchildren; Katie Litton and husband Daniel, Steve Kapfer and wife Krissy , Anna Amos, and three great-grandchildren; Sarah Litton, Kristopher Litton and Lilly Kapfer.

The funeral will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Stella Christian Church with Pastor Steve Hayes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends thirty minutes before the service from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm. 1:30 to 2:00 pm.
