Obituary for David Garnett Knick, Jr.

David Garnett Knick, Jr., age 75 of Atlantic Beach, NC passed away in Fishersville, VA, Tuesday, February 6, 2018. He was born, July 23, 1942 in Washington, DC, to the late David Garnett Knick, Sr. and the late Grace Coble Knick. Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Sylvia Ray Knick. He was retired from Goodyear after 30 years of service.

In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Mark Knick (Tammy) of Rocky Mt., VA, Kenneth Knick (Delcey) of Salem, VA and Mike Knick (Leslie) of Fishersville, VA; a sister Louise Carter (Walter) of Lake Anna, VA; a brother William P. Knick (Nancy) of Grandy, NC and nine grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rachel, Ethan, Bryce, Grace, Matthew, Benjamin, Alexander and Tyler.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services, Inc., West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave., Danville, VA 24541 with Pastor Grant Beecher officiating. Entombment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 10, 2018, prior to the service at Norris Funeral Service, West End Chapel.
