Obituary for Billy Wayne Heath, Jr.

Billy Wayne Heath, Jr., 54, of 3457 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, Va., went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Lynchburg General Hospital, Lynchburg, Va. He was born July 13, 1963, in Danville. His hobbies included fishing, bowling and hunting. He worked in packaging at the Hatcher Center. Mr. Heath was a member of Blairs Baptist Church.

Mr. Heath is survived by his mother, Vivian Hall and step-father, Clyde Hall, Jr.; his father, Billy Heath, Sr. and wife, Linda; his sisters, Krystal Phillips and husband, Matthew of Dry Fork, Va. and Shannon Hall of Maine; as well as his godmother, Stella Emerson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, with Rev. James Mayes officiating. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service, and at other times at his mother’s residence, 3457 Franklin Turnpike, Danville.
