Obituary for Anthony C. Ventrice, Jr.

Anthony C. Ventrice, Jr., 58, of 155 Oak Lane, Blairs, Va. passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Danville Regional Medical Center, Danville, Va. He was born October 2, 1958, in New York to the late Helen T. Ventrice and the late Anthony C. Ventrice, Sr. Mr. Ventrice is survived by his beloved, Sandra Ventrice. He proudly served his country in the US Army. Mr. Ventrice worked as a supervisor for Sun Chemical Company.

In addition to Sandra, Mr. Ventrice is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Ventrice Szejniuk (Joseph) of Charlotte, N.C.; his son, Anthony Joseph Ventrice (Sarah) of Vernon Hill, Va.; his sister, Deborah Ventrice Wilson (Gary), and his brother, Joseph E. Ventrice, both of Brooklyn, NY; his grandchildren, Anthony Michael Ventrice and Avery Grace Szejniuk. He is further survived by Charles D. Hamberger of Blairs, Angelina Blankenship (Phillip) of Germany, Charles Z. Hamberger (Brittany) of Danville, Zoey N. Hamberger, Connor Blankenship, and David Michael Wilson; as well as Victor Nieves (Candace) of Danville.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ventrice was predeceased by his sister, Maureen A. Ventrice, and his aunt, Rose Bruns.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel with Minister Kelly Gonsalves officiating.
